Above The Law

[edit]

I removed the following from the article and bring it here for discussion:

In 1988 Ronnie appeared in the motion picture Above The Law with Steven Seagal, who became a close personal friend of his. He played a slimy bartender that kept popping up throughout the whole film for no apparent reason. In one scene, where his character has been arrested, he mentions his cousin also from Algiers, Bob Fouquet. In the back ground Ronnie character is heard saying with his thick New Orleans accent, "Hey, I got a little cousin who's a cop down in New Orleans named Bob Fouquet. Ever heard of him?" Bob was the lead cop in the biggest drug sting operation In New Orleans called "The Trojan Horse Operation". Bob and Ronnie were very close growing up and Bob even taught Ronnie how to play the guitar when they were younger. This influenced him in becoming a musician. Ronnie has since gained an enormous cult following for the role.

I do not deny the truth of any of this, but the section is too long and detailed, contains information not relevant to this person, and is unreferenced. Until these problems are dealt with, it should remain out. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 01:17, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
