Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... it is about the notable guitarist and musician Roopam Garg. I believe Roopam Garg to be an important figure in the music industry, particularly in the guitar niche, as he has made a great impact in his sphere, is an influential figure, and has several endorsements such as Fishman Music and Abasi Concepts (founded by another famous guitarist Tosin Abasi). He has been showcased, featured, and interviewed times in several credible and significant sources such as Guitar World Magazine, Louder Sound Magazine, Metal Injection, and other platforms. As you will see in the references portion of the article, there are several of them. Nothing about the text seems promotional, as it is all referenced material. Thus, I believe it fits Wikipedia's request that that "the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources." The article was written with these secondary sources as references. It was not intended to bolster his presence, as Roopam Garg already has a significant presence. I completely understand that Wikipedia is a place for encyclopedic information of significance and importance, and that was the reasoning for writing this article--to expand Wikipedia's knowledgebase. The article was written with the intention that it adds value to Wikipedia and grows its database of notable musicians. This is the first of many articles I hope to write of other notable musicians. Additionally, it follows the same/similar layout and objective tone as other Wikipedia articles of musicians. In fact, several other Wikipedia articles exist of musicians that are not as well-known as Roopam Garg. Great lengths were taken to ensure that it has the same objective tone and relevant info as these other articles. Let me know what else I can do to improve this article so it can satisfy any requirements I may have unintentionally not met. Thank you. --Sriramk296 (talk) 17:31, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
