Murray after his death
[edit]hi, I was interested about this man in his 80s and found this:
quote from this article: The first such weapon-shawing was held on 14 June 1714 with the Marquis of Athole as their Captain-General, even though he was in his 80s by this time
quote from his article:John Murray, 1st Marquess of Atholl, KT (2 May 1631 – 6 May 1703)
quote from the Captain-generals list: John Murray, 1st Marquess of Atholl c.1676–1703 George Mackenzie, 1st Earl of Cromartie 1703–1714
