Ship's name

[edit]

The ship's name, Братство, is translated as brotherhood in English, but as per rules the ship's name may not be translated directly.[clarification needed]

What rules? Bratstvo is the transliteration from Russian, and seems sufficient to me.--DThomsen8 (talk) 17:48, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If no reply, I will delete that line on 12 May 2016.--DThomsen8 (talk) 01:47, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
    • Will say not rules, will say customs. If the ship's name means something on native language we ca not give the English name for this ship as translation name. We have to change characters only. Any way this line is not necerrary to back in the article. But, as I remember, in one source I so directly translated English name of this ship (can description of be photo has it).Грищук ЮН (talk) 13:21, 14 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding portals

[edit]

This ship was built in the Soviet Union on the territory of the Soviet Ukraine it is why better to send this arcticle to the SOVIET UNION PORTAL. If You have not SOVIET UNION PORTAL can be UKRAINE PORTAL will better then RUSSIAN PORTAL.Грищук ЮН (talk) 14:09, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
