Sorry to open a kettle of fish, but with regards to the final sentence, what is the "true meaning of Islam"? Can a definitive interpretation of any religion ever be stated? I am in accord with Gareth E Kegg's statement. It would be more consistent with a neutral point of view to say, for example, that “they are taught that the true meaning of Islam is ...” followed by a very brief overview of the teachings. Timothy Campbell (talk) 21:21, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Actually the source didn't go into detail of what is the true meaning of Islam, but I agree with you it needs to be clarified exactly what meaning of Islam is meant here. This source cites an example of this, can it be used in any useful way? --SMSTalk22:03, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
