There isn't any mention of the 1979 miniseries by Warner Bros.

Sackett Brothers

[edit]

I changed the listing of Tyrel from "youngest son" to "third son" because in the books he, Tell and Orrin had two younger brothers named (IIRC) Joe and Bob. One of them was killed in Colorado just before the beginning of the novel Borden Chantry. McGehee 22:14, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Real Sacketts"

[edit]

Took out info about a real 14th-century family tree that didn't have any connection to the subject of this article.PacificBoy 22:20, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello
I am new to Wiki adding/editing so I thought I'd see if you can help. I'm reading Treasure Mountain, book 17 in the Sackett series. In chapter XVIII, on the seventh page (I'm using Google books and don't see an actual page number). Tell and Orrin arrive in Animas City, talking to the bartender at Schwenk & Will's saloon, and the bartender says, "one of the first men in this country was Seth Sackett. He came in with the Baker outfit". The Wiki page for the Sacketts doesn't list Seth under the section "Characters in Mainstream Novels". Perhaps you can add this name? "Welsh family"

[edit]

I just watched the movie 'the Sacketts' in the introduction, L'amour says that the Sacketts were a family of Welsh origin. But the books say they are from the Fens area, which is correct?192.251.125.85 (talk) 03:34, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Sackett Land" mentions that Barnabas is from the Fens area of England, but that his ancestors are Welsh and from the blood of Nial and have the gift of second sight. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.69.69.12 (talk) 16:48, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Clarify

[edit]

This was on the article as a comment with a clarify tag. I've moved it here instead. RJFJR (talk) 21:42, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

== List of Sackett stories by L'Amour == How is the list ordered? perhaps it is possible to put them in fictional historical order with dates 1600 to whenever, and change the heading to Sackett stories in historical sequence

Louis Lamour
