Francis Jack Needham[edit]

I think he needs his own page. I've corrected the categorisation for him (Fellow of the RGS) for now, but that link really ought to lead to an article about him, not about Sadiya. Jasper33 12:22, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

origin of sadiya[edit]

There was a sentence under origins that claimed that Sadiya is the name of the nanny of Prophet Mohd. Couldnt find a ref for this and have removed it. Even if the fact is true, it is anyways unlikely that this led to the naming of this town in Assam. prashanthns (talk) 15:40, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Khamtis[edit]

@Safe haven123, you are mistaking Khamtis with Burmese. These are two different events, there wasn't Burmese invasion in Assam before 1817. Provide adequate source for your claims and don't directly go on edit warring, check out WP:CITE. ComparingQuantities (talk) 14:11, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
