Shorten plot summary

[edit]

The long summary was four typed pages (text put on Word), and is now cut to three typed pages. Still rather long for Wikipedia standards for the plot summary of a novel. Can someone else try to cut it to the equivalent of two typed pages? Another 25% off what it was earlier in March.

The plot summary was cut another 25%, at about 1,073 words, using Word to do the counting. It fits on two typed pages. The day by day structure is eliminated. But summaries are preferred not to exceed about 700-800 words, so this could use more cutting. Perhaps the flag for excessively long plot summary, place in 2012, could be eliminated, reflecting the editing done since then, cutting it in half. --Prairieplant (talk) 07:36, 24 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
