Notability[edit]

This article was tagged to be reviewed for notability and included in WikiProject:Women artists. There is not strong, clear notability here, but there are a couple of things that work in her favor: 1) She was well-educated in Fine Arts (MFA+ additional studies), 2) there is a good market for her abstract paintings, 3) She has remained affiliated with the Art Institute, her works showing there and supporting the organization, 4) there is a lot of published source information about her... I stopped not because I ran out of sources, but because I just got to what is a good stopping point. Others might be able to expand the article.

The downside is that a lot of her work is community-based - an upside is that she has had prestigious commissions, her art sells well and she's been involved in a number of activities to support charitable organizations.--CaroleHenson (talk) 04:51, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
