Which sarky anonymous toerag put in 'fellow Random House author'? It was clearly inserted in order to imply that the quote was simply a put up job by the publisher. It wasn't. The publisher had nothing to do with it, and Pearson doesn't normally give cover quotes. I sent her a copy, and she read it and seemed to enjoy it.
