Manu Samoa

[edit]

If the New Zealand side is named by its moniker on Wikipedia, shouldn't this article be renamed Manu Samoa, being that it is the official name of the side? --Bob 15:21, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Depends if it's better known by Manu Samoa or just Samoa. I'd say just Samoa. - Shudde talk 02:05, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Are the Samoan national team know more commonly in the Southern Hemisphere as Manu Samoa? Otherwise I feel the lead needs shifted around a bit. PeemJim86 (talk) 22:30, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wales v Western/Manu Samoa

[edit]

Is there perhaps a place for more on this particular facet of the topic. As a Welshman having seen my nation lose yet again to Samoa in the last couple of days, it seems these fixtures are starting to have a special significance. Indeed this has caused a cultural impact- for example the 1991 match is referred to (in)famously in the film Twin Town. The 1991 match remains a defining moment in Welsh Rugby history. Is it the same in Samoa? Compared with other European societies I suspect a higher proportion of Welsh people have heard of Samoa for obvious reasons. 1:39 18 November 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.98.229.158 (talk)

Orphaned references in Samoa national rugby union team

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Samoa national rugby union team's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "ITA":

  • From 2014 IRB Pacific Nations Cup: "Test-match di giugno: Italrugby contro Fiji, Samoa e Giappone". www.onrugby.it. 31 December 2013. Retrieved 31 December 2013.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 10:15, 21 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

2017 Samoan bankruptcy

[edit]

Should the 2017 bankruptcy be in the lead section or just the main body? Mobile mundo (talk) 23:55, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
