Notability
[edit]While it may not seem immediately notable because we are, today, used to the usage of concrete in fabricating buildings, Lake's use of this material in the 1860s was pioneering, and the block stands today. He is jointly notable for being a pioneer of that building material and for his early work, before its time, on steam powered trawlers. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 18:01, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
