concerning Qilakitsoq

[edit]

The Article says "Archaeological excavations in Qilakitsoq west of the settlement ..." I guess it is a misunderstanding. Saqqaq is situated on the southern part of the Nussuaq-Peninsula. Qilakitsoq is situated at the northeast part of the Nussuaq-Peninsula close to Umanaq (75 km north of Saqqaq). The archeological site, the Saqqaq-culture is named after, has to be somewhere else than Qilaqitsoq. Is somebody able to tell, which site the name Saqqaq-culture refers to? --Lomvi (talk) 12:22, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
