Scots Saying
[edit]Does anyone else know the saying "It's like sauchiehall street here" meaning it is busy, lots of people? --Doric Loon (talk) 12:15, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
In Leeds they say it's like Briggate on a Saturday afternoon meaning the same thing. I think you just substitute whatever the main shopping street is of the Town/City were you are LOL. (86.159.239.67 (talk) 14:58, 7 March 2011 (UTC))
