I've removed the plot description because it's much too similar to THIS description (actually two descriptions, scroll down for the second one). It's not word for word, but it's too similar to be appropriate. Anchoress 04:12, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please correct number of seasons. I’m watching the 4th season now. 2600:1700:546:E210:70E5:5825:3E56:1F0E (talk) 06:22, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Plot description

[edit]

From linux1sking: The plot description makes this show sound like a 7th Heaven episode. There's no mention of the Angel, Grace's own need for redemption (or whatever), etc. Someone out there is a better writer than I ... Linux1sking 17:37, 2 August 2007 (UTC)linux1sking[reply]

I updated and did some editing on the plot description in order to clear up some of the more nebulous conclusions and to provide balance to the portrayal of Grace (It focused a little too much on her negative traits). I also expounded on the storyline, and edited to help make the writing clearer and more readable. Hopefully I didn't step on any toes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.205.248.145 (talk) 20:19, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I corrected some of the speculative remarks, specifically "(possibly an alcoholic)" Also "occasionally lying". Should we also list when she stole some kid's lunch money in the 4th grade? Also, adulterous usually refers to the married person who has an affair, e.g. Ham is adulterous. "Sexually casual" was a little ridiculous, but the recent edits go way over in the other direction. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.214.103.1 (talk) 17:45, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Religion

[edit]

Maybe we should futher analyse the religious content of the show, cause as a european viewer i can't imagine this beeing broardcast on any european network due to its religious content —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.11.205.103 (talk) 16:55, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is the subject of religion offensive to all Europeans? Or just to you? Highspeed —Preceding comment was added at 17:08, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The show is among the most non-specific I've seen to have an angel. It's the only show like this I've seen where the atheist was treated respectfully and not pressured by the angel to convert. (Granted I found that a bit strange as you think atheism would be a bit less understandable if you are an angel sent by God) However I do think it's a bit odd that Baptists and Pentecostals don't seem to be that common on the show. Looking it up about a third of Oklahomans are Southern Baptist or Assemblies of God. My experience with Oklahomans has been mostly Baptists or people raised Baptist. I'm uncertain if this has been commented on by critics though. TV critics rarely venture to "fly over" land, but I imagine it'll be mentioned at some point.--T. The religion content is moderate compared to some American broadcasts. - kpwa_gok —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.149.184.32 (talk) 05:16, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Main crew

[edit]

This section is useless because it doesn't say what jobs these people hold. 209.247.21.77 (talk) 14:42, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good call -- it has no place in the article anyway. It has been deleted. The info is available at IMDB and official site for anyone who wants that information anyway. Softlavender (talk) 20:37, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gretchen Wilson song

[edit]

Should something be included about Gretchen Wilson recording the song "work hard" for this show and then being sued by the Black Crowes for copyright infringment?--Brian Earl Haines (talk) 18:45, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
