Is Scar notable?
[edit]Are there enough reliable third-party sources (excluding any and all DC publications) for this character to have its own wikipedia entry? If there are, could someone please put them up? 76.123.108.57 (talk) 09:11, 19 February 2009 (UTC)Turk
Wikipedia:Notability only governs in cases where a subject's notability sufficient to merit a separate article is in question. Perhaps a merge into Emerald Twilight or In Blackest Night would be in order, but which? She is at the very least a major catalyst in the Green Lantern universe's proceedings. In particular, as one of a handful of archvillains behind most of the trouble the Green Lanterns have faced for the past three years, I would say she is notable, just as I would assert that Sauron as the primary antagonist in Lord of the Rings is sufficiently notable for his own entry. Yes, Scar is but one archvillain in a long saga, but she wields sufficient power and influence to end the story as we know it. Regardless of whether someone not writing for DC has written an essay about her, that must be taken into account. If a merge is warranted, one hopes the information on the character is not relegated to a single "mostly harmless"-type sentence. Boomshadow (talk) 01:38, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Black Dripping Eyes?
[edit]In several comics I've seen Scar gushing black liquid from her eyes. What is that about? Artemisboy (talk) 19:43, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
