Since the list is in descending order, new entries will come on top, which means one would need to move the links upwards every time a new year is added. I know it's not really according to WP:MOS but maybe in lists it would make sense to have a tad more redundant links instead of "proper" linking randomly on the page somewhere? // Gargaj 21:32, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the "proper" thing to do would be to remove redundant links as you're (re-)adding them at the top of the section. Shouldn't be too big a pain if you're only updating the section once a year. There are already enough red links as it is.. maybe it's time to get subjective and take out a few you wouldn't/shouldn't add as articles (*coughshitfacedclownscough*). --Vossanova 01:47, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Then again e.g. Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance has redundant links (obviously no red ones). I feel that linking every group on every occasion is the best solution; the real question might be to have or not to have redlinks. // Gargaj 11:44, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I myself hate redlinks. If you feel it's better to repeat links, I won't put up a fight, but those links better be valid or at least notable enough to be so. The fewer links, the cleaner the list. --Vossanova 20:39, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I removed all redlinks and repeated all blue ones. Deal? :) //Gargaj 22:29, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
