Spam

[edit]

I left in external links to Search Engine Watch and Search Engine Roundtable (both of which I'm familiar with and know have a level of independent or informational value). I don't know Search Engine Guide, but it appears to be a good resource so it was left. I killed a link to a random SEO site.

I think this category will become a little more spam prone in the future as people begin to slide away from the most regular watched / edited categories, so I also added a "prone to spam" message. Weeboab 11:44, 14 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • Per WP:SPAM, the tag is for entries that are "aggressively" spammed. It's also suggested that the tag be removed when the attacks die down. Otherwise, too many tagged articles (such as this low-traffic, low-edit article) would make the tag practically meaningless. I presume you have this article on your watchlist (as do I and others), so I'm removing the tag until/unless it's attacked. LordMac 14:12, 14 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
