Changing the title to: July 2020 Riots in Serbia
[edit]The original trigger may have been the COVID quarantine of Belgrade, but they were really caused because of the erosion of democratic institutions in Serbia. Gmiletic (talk) 20:38, 8 August 2020 (UTC)

Moving the 2021 Rio Tinto environmental protests to a new article
[edit]I suggest moving the environmental protests in a new article so that the background information can be added as well as external links. - Emilija Knezevic (talk) 15:41, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
- The new article is 2021 Serbian environmental protests. I am not sure if I should keep updating this article, or we just stop here. I guess I will provide a quick update for December 11th protests, probably later today or tomorrow, when more news become available. - Emilija Knezevic (talk) 20:49, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
Page should be just about July 2020 protests
[edit]Protests after July were not so much important to be mentioned in this page. They were sporadic, generally smaller by size, had so many different causes and were less impactful as riots in July. So I suggest to delete text about peaceful protests after July and about blockade in November 2021 (because there is already a page about it) and section about ecological uprising protest should be transferred to background of page about 2021 protests, so that only the text about 2020 riots remains. Sandman1991 (talk) 17:38, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
- I agree, minor protests are still being organized up to this day. Wikipedia is not a newspaper, post-July protests are not notable. Vacant0 (talk) 14:54, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
Delete the article and switch to Serbian protests (2020–2022)
[edit]Delete the article and switch to Serbian protests (2020–2022) – Baba Mica (talk) 14:31, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
- Protests that were held after July and onward are not notable. I'll request for deletion. Vacant0 (talk) 14:35, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Baba Mica: Discuss your proposal here, blank edit summaries are not going to help. Vacant0 (talk) 14:56, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
- What it looks like you're proposing is a move of this article (i.e. a rename) to Serbian protests (2020–2022). This article will not be deleted because all the attribution from other users would be lost. Please do that instead of creating a new Serbian protests (2020–2022) article, which IMO has a proper case for deletion via WP:A10. --MuZemike 16:37, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
