Shattuckite, papagoite, ajoite

[edit]

I have a question - is shattuckite the same thing as papagoite or ajoite/ajo quartz? I have run into several articles combining them, especially for purchase, but no explanation

Shattuckite is IMA approved and an inosilicate, papagoite is IMA approved too and a cyclosilicate, ajoite is IMA approved too and a phyllosilicate. Quartz var. is silicon dioxide, and it can have many inclusions. --Chris.urs-o (talk) 06:42, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Shattuckite, plancheite, papagoite and ajoite occour in the same location: New Cornelia Mine (Ajo Mine), Ajo, Little Ajo Mts, Ajo District, Pima Co., Arizona, USA. --Chris.urs-o (talk) 06:01, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
