A worthwhile project

[edit]

I know this is not strictly 'talk page material', but I would really encourage readers to visit this station, if you are in the area, and support their endeavours. We popped in recently on a Sunday and found the few dedicated volunteers there to be very friendly and helpful. Restoration work is continuing apace, and the countryside is gorgeous -- it will make a wonderful line once restored. (Note also that you can walk the trackbed for a considerable distance in either direction.)

Note that I have no links with the project, except as a satisfied visitor.
