Why?
[edit]I'd really like to know why the access is so restricted to Slabsides. If we have any info why its so controlled, we should certainly include it. PowderedToastMan 02:24, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I will find out when I visit in October, but I suspect the small organization that runs it couldn't handle the costs of keeping it open year-round. I mean, there's really not much to the house, but it is preserved pretty much as it was when Burroughs lived there. I suspect they decided that the less visitors, the better.
Considering that the owners of the Millard Fillmore House do not open it up at all, it could be worse. Daniel Case 04:30, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
