Beware when translating to/from German: In German, "Slip" is used for briefs!

Male clothing[edit]

A slip is also an accessory (usually white) attached to the inside top edge of a waistcoat, and is sometimes worn with morning dress. It is the descendant of the under-waistcoat. 17:07, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
