Setlist?[edit]

I thought this used to have the setlist here? Where is it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Arnies (talkcontribs) 09:08, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How do we know about the confirmed song list? 82.234.72.223 11:44, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bruce himself has confirmed Rime And Aces High. Then there is a quote by Rod Smallwood, which he sneakily sneaks in song titles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.227.2.112 (talk) 14:40, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Iron Maiden Tour 08.jpg[edit]

Image:Iron Maiden Tour 08.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Sold tickets?[edit]

Where are the sources for the capacity/attendance section? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Agnarkb (talkcontribs) 18:26, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Feb 20 concert at Mount Smart Stadium is wrong, at least. Bruce said during the gig that 18,000 tickets had been sold. I'm not sure the capacity is as high as 45,000 either. 219.89.161.48 (talk) 23:31, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know, I was there. Some annon keeps changing the figures. I am now suspicious of all 100% attendance figures without a reference. BTW, Mt Smart has a maximum capacity of 45,00. But that many tickets could not be sold because the stage covered one end of the stadium. Onco_p53 (talk) 02:35, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
These sales figures are wildly inaccurate. The first show at Acer Arena in Sydney had at least 17,000 as it was a sell-out and with Maiden's stage in there the room was at capacity. The second night was far from a complete sell out, so the figures for the second Sydney show is closer to the truth. It's the same with Melbourne. Rod Laver Arena holds more than 11,000; looks to me like they fudged the numbers to make it look more successful than it was. --BrianFG (talk) 02:27, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The correct figures were collected by members of the Iron Maiden Fan Club and put in this article some time ago. Unfortunately all the correct information was removed.--Nerdtrap (talk) 00:52, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Tour section: what are you talking about actually?[edit]

"The first leg of Iron Maiden's Somewhere Back in Time World Tour opened in Mumbai, India on Feb 1st, and will continue through Australia, Japan, Los Angeles and Mexico, followed by the band's first ever concerts in Costa Rica ,Colombia and Ecuador, and then on to Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Puerto Rico and New York, before finishing in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, on April 4th. Over the 63 day period it is anticipated that Maiden will play to well over 1,500,000 fans in 23 cities in 10 countries, flying close to 50,000 miles in the specially refitted plane."

1st leg ended with concert in Florida??? April 4th??? Which 10 countries? I can't see any leg of the tour with exactly 10 countries! What 63 day period? You know, this tour started in february 2008 and finished in april 2009.

Seems like somebody had been under the influence of whatever while writing this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.86.167.245 (talk) 20:02, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Concert at Blossom Music Center[edit]

I mean Chiba-Ken opened for Iron Maiden on June 12th, 2008 when they played at Blossom Music Center but I don't know. I have some sources which say that Chiba-Ken opened for them but I can't find any reliable search. Can you help me?
