Copyright
[edit]Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought lyrics were copyright protected and if they are shouldn't they be removed? Cat-five 18:51, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
- Only if used in a commercial sense, elsewise, fair usage applies (Sorry for the 3 year late response). ⒺⓋⒾⓁⒼⓄⒽⒶⓃ② talk 15:33, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
First Season Question
[edit]I'm pretty sure the first season (or so) had a sparser opening, and Kyle and Stan's voices sounded different when they sang their lines. Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly, though. ~Shippinator Mandy (For best results, use twice daily.) 02:48, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
Kenny Singing
[edit]Along with the variants above, there was a running gag of an incomprehensible line sung by Kenny (and briefly by Timmy). The South Park creators revealed what was being said later.
- Seasons 1-2 - "I love girls with big fat titties, I love girls with deep vaginas."
- Seasons 3-5 - "I have got a ten inch penis, use your mouth if you want to clean it."
- Season 6 - "Timmy, Timmy, Timmy, Timmy, Timmy, Timmy, Livin' a lie! Timmay!"
- Seasons 7-10 (first half)/syndication - "Someday I’ll be old enough to stick my dick in Britney’s butt!"
- Seasons 10 (second half)-? - "I would like to smelly your pussy clean it with my finger for you."
Can someone please cite this before re adding , it looks totally made up to me (Gnevin 19:30, 6 November 2006 (UTC))
- I believe this was confirmed in the FAQ from South Park Studios. I'll see if I can find it. -Juansmith 22:43, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Images
[edit]Could we possibly upload some better images? The ones I used are of very poor quality, see my computer will not screenshot properly. Mr. Garrison (talk · contribs)
7B intro
[edit]On the DVD release all season 7 episodes have the same intro, this is wrong since watching episodes on television and online show a different intro from South Park is Gay! onwards. Mr. Garrison (talk · contribs)
Changes in intro==
[edit]The intro has changed again. The characters are no longer shown being made by hands. They just peek in from the sides of screen and sing their lines. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.185.245.106 (talk) 21:54, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Requested move
[edit]- The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the proposal was move the page from South Park opening credits to South Park title sequence, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 10:21, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
With rare exceptions of guest stars being billed as such in earlier seasons, credits are never actually displayed during the opening. See title sequence as opposed to opening credits. — SoSaysChappy (talk) 04:37, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

- Support - this is, in fact, an article on the title sequence, not just the opening credits. Robofish (talk) 04:21, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
