Source for the name being applied to the ISS
[edit]I looked at the main ISS article for, and did not find, a verifiable source for the use of the Space Station Alpha name for the ISS. While there is nothing in the article prose, I did find a reference listed where the source article sounds like it might have supported the claim. Unfourtunately, it is a deadlink. For the record, that source (as of 2011-02-08) is: <ref name="Space.com">{{cite web|url=http://www.space.com/missionlaunches/missions/fl_alpha_010201.html|publisher=Space.com|title=NASA Yields to Use of Alpha Name for Station|author=Steven Siceloff|date=1 February 2001|publisher=Florida Today|accessdate=18 January 2009}}</ref>

- I am changing this redirect to Space Station Freedom because Alpha is discussed in that article and not in the International Space Station article. Pine✉ 02:35, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
