Merge discussion

[edit]
I thought of merging these two articles too, but I found so information on a lost ethnic African group called Nittevo that apparently went extinct around 1750. [1]--Blackknight12 (talk) 05:17, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have read about Nittevos. There is not much about them to suggest they are related to Africa. They might related to Veddas. (Veddas said to be the one who had seen the Nittevos last). So I believe it is not a matter in here. Regards--Chanaka L (talk) 06:01, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah there isn't much information on them so maybe we should just merge these two, plus all the information on African Sri Lankans is alresy on Sri Lanka Kaffirs. Regards--Blackknight12 (talk) 06:43, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

African Sri lankans are also called Kaffirs, but since it is a deragotary term it is better keep the article's heading as it is, and post relevant information from the kaffir page on to this one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.51.18.20 (talk) 19:55, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In Sri Lanka, word Kaffir is not derogatory. Please see ref #2.--Chanaka L (talk) 05:10, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tamil derogatory term காப்பிலி

[edit]

This article uses the derogatory term, which means the barbarians. Pls remove and use a proper term such as ஆப்பிரிக்கர் or கறுப்பினத்தவர். — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.95.101.107 (talk) 03:22, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
