Edit[edit]

I'm going to edit this article because there are some inaccuracies, some missing information, and a rather pointless anecdote about a local legend that is dodgy trivia at best. I've added the true name of the river, the mining history related to it's local names of white river and red river, as well as some information about the silting of Pentewan, which is often misquoted and poorly understood. It should now have scope to morph beyond being a stub, and there is room there for the addition of some photographs if anyone has the time to take some. ▫Bad▫harlick♠ 22:36, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
