guard

[edit]

how is it legal for a private guard to enforce anything on a public road? i'm assuming people just think they have to stop, and do, but the guard couldn't do a thing if you just drove/walked by. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.162.151.98 (talk) 06:15, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The guard's there for intimidation. Most people see the guard gate and turn around. I've driven on Star Island several times, and just wave to the guard as I go past. - Marc Averette (talk) 16:15, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Will Smith

[edit]

According to the Will Smith article, Smith has a house on Star Island as well. But I don't know how to easily get references on this from reputable sources, but assume it can easily be done. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alaskan Rover (talkcontribs) 17:48, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
