Unfit for purpose
[edit]User:ColinFC, a SPA, added content stating that something about the bank's signup process was 'unfit for purpose'. Unfortunately he didn't say what purpose it was unfit for. The new content was cited to a complaints forum thread that was started by a user called 'Colin'.
User:Daylen reverted the new content. ColinFC reverted Daylen's revert.
You can't cite to a forum thread.
You can't (generally) cite to material that you have authored.
If the source doesn't say anything about unfitness for purpose, then inserting that claim is WP:OR.
I have reverted to the content as it was before ColinFC rocked up. Please discuss here before reinstating. MrDemeanour (talk) 08:25, 5 September 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you to User:Gråbergs_Gråa_Sång for adding the press coverage above. I would like to forewarn users that the allegations of paid editing to the article Anne Boden cited in the Telegraph were made by User:GDX420, who later received a multi day suspension from Wikipedia for making unsubstantiated allegations and abusing the Wikipedia deletion process.
