Military Ranks

I'm thinking the military ranks should be resized and shifted to the bottom of the page, as they create kind of a gap being right there, cutting off the article introduction and the character biographies. I'd move it myself, but I have little experiance with tables on wiki and don't want to ruin someone else's hard work. - Nepharski 9:11 PM March 12 2007

Thats becuase you haven't. So far nobody has been able to provide a source for Violet. Pending another thouruogh analysis af the manga I intend to remove his/her name from the board on the basis of that character being fictional or being from a different series (like Dragonball). Character Pictures

At a look at this article, I was wondering, shopuldn;t the characters pictures be changed to their manga counter-parts? When I colicked on this link, I scroleld through it and paused for a few minutes when I saw an ANIME picture of Mustang.

I know there are some chars here who do have an anime apperance, but all of the manga homunculus had pictures of their manga counter-parts rather than their anime ones added. By this vein, shouldn;t the characters here which have anime pictures be changed for manga pictures of their characters?

Techinically, yes, the manga characters should have manga pictures. The reason so many have anime pictures stems from the time of the split from joint pages to anime/manga exclusive pages; at the time, the only images avalaible were the anime ones that me and a few others had uploaded, so they were intergrated in the manga pages for use as visual aids. Thats becuase the fair use rules changed again, which is causing a large scale sweep of our articles to check for fair use compliance. If the picture doesn't meet fair use guidelines, it gets wacked. The anime images are back in here becuase they do meet fair use guidelines, therefore they are for the time being acceptable replacements. TomStar81 (Talk) 20:52, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

It is true that he use sulphur to create explosive materials? In my knowledge, the thing that most easily explode is made from nitrates family (NO₃^-). Almost every military explosive in today's military world has nitrate component as main ingredients. And nitrites (NO₂-) is used, before the carsinogenic properties found, as meat preservatives, giving the meat into reddish hue. Fair use images of each charachters

The use of non free images of each characters in lists like this violates our non free content criteria #3 and #8. There has been many discussion about this, see the archives at WT:NFC and there is consensus for removal of such images. There has been some discussion about allowing a single image created by the copyright holder that includes many of the characters, and there seem for now to be consensus to allow such an image. Question:At this time there is sufficient content here for most of these characters to gain and maintain there own article. If I move applicable characters to thier own page can the fair use images remain here? TomStar81 (Talk) 22:49, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

I think that question would be best to ask The Anime and manga WikiProject. There have been many afd's on articles about fictional characters lately so you I would advise you to check if theses articles are notable enough to warrant an article.
