[edit]

The new record is set by German Tom Sietas 22 minutes 22 seconds with pure oxygen http://newsfeed.time.com/2012/06/05/german-diver-sets-breath-holding-record-22-minutes-22-seconds/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trollface476 (talkcontribs) 07:12, 10 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It was in an episode of that show, as Constable Karen Pelly's sport, but I'm not sure that's worth mentioning in the article.--T. Anthony (talk) 03:33, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New records

[edit]

According to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvVkp1h5Q1U, the static apnea record is 12:11 and according to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvNx5WmZfuI, the static apnea with pure oxygen record is 23:01. I know YouTube is not a reliable source but can anyone find reliable sources with the same information? Blackbombchu (talk) 02:44, 23 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

AIDA or CMAS or overall?

Record progression. It is not clear whether it's just records under one federation or it is a general list?

Also record progression for women would be nice. 213.149.61.21 (talk) 21:00, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Record progression

[edit]
  1. Men; Doesn't anybody have information of record progression since at least 7 minute mark? It starts too high.
  2. Women; I found some women records but couldn't find who broke 6 and 7 minute marks, which was the idea to start record progression with. If anybody has information please continue. 213.149.51.202 (talk) 12:08, 15 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
