What about the Stockbridge oil field?

[edit]

I feel that there should be a reference and maybe an article about the Stockbridge oil field, of which I was unaware until it cropped up in a Guardian quiz last Saturday. I have not been able to find out much about this field, which is also not listed in Category:Oil_fields_of_England, but I hope that others are better placed to provide more information. I did find https://consult.environment-agency.gov.uk/psc/so21-1hg-igas-energy-development-limited/supporting_documents/STK19%20Site%20Condition%20Report.pdf, from which I gather that it consists of three sites, Hill Farm, Larkwhistle Farm and Folly Farm and has an environmental permit for the Stockbridge Oilfield as a whole reference EPR/YP3731YK. 78.141.51.73 (talk) 18:20, 30 July 2018 (UTC) (User:PJTraill not logged on)[reply]

war prisoner camp in WW2

[edit]

I just read the German article about Ernst Jandl. There is written, that he was detained in the war prisoner camp in Stockbridge, Hampshire from 1944 to 1946. He worked there as translator. Shouldn't be there one or two sentences about that camp? Or did it just not exist and it is an error in the German wiki? Perhaps it was the camp in Romsey?
