Talk:Straubing Wallmühle Airport

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article is mixing history of two different airfields in Straubing area. The position describes the civilian post war airport (Wallmuehle). The historian part describes the Fliegerhorst (Mansfield Kaserne) nowaday used by the Bundeswehr (Gäubodenkaserne). This plant is ca. 4 km south west of Straubing. Unfortunatly my English is not good enough to change the article http://www.airport-straubing.com/history/ http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%A4ubodenkaserne

[edit]

This landing plaxce was always a civilian airport started in the 1960s as a place for gliders. There was NEVER any unit of any military forces! The historical part of the article describes Mansfield Kaserne! http://www.8thordnance.com/Photos-pg-6-Mansfield-Kaserne.html 16:01, 13 July 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Irgendwie im sowieso (talkcontribs)
