I searched for several hours for a public domain pie recipe. I found none. I did find a Allrecipes pie recipe which I gently rewrote. Here is the legal statement from Allrecipes.com concerning the sharing of recipes:

I've tried to fluff out this stub as much as possible. I've searched the web and have found very little new to add to this article. What I did find seems to suggest Strawberry Rhubarb pie is enjoyed throughout most of North America and the dessert truly isn't a regional dessert. It seems almost anywhere rhubarb grows you will find Strawberry Rhubarb or Rhubarb pie. In my personal cookbook collection I even found a recipe in Scandinavian Home Cooking for a variant of Rhubarb pie. Any way, it was fun trying to expand this stub a bit.
