Minimum[edit]

The minimum is actually € 10, not € 1 (see § 51 Abs. 4 BAföG). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.84.225.210 (talk) 13:08, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Translation[edit]

Where does the translation "Federal Training Assistance Act" come from? If this is not official, I'd translate it with "Federal Education Assistance Law". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.172.193.148 (talk) 16:15, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Usually free[edit]

First sentence and already inaccurate information. "German public universities are usually free for students. " This is simply not true. You can call tuition a semester fee or contribution or whatever you want but at the end of the day it is certainly not free. This should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8807:A700:62A0:2CE5:1485:DC3A:70B2 (talk) 04:24, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
