Neleh Dennis on Articles-for-Deletion

Note: Neleh Dennis is on AFD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Neleh Dennis (2nd nomination) --rob 08:55, 18 October 2005 (UTC)

Since (apparently) sometime during the 4 years since this comment was posted, her article has been deleted, I'm removing the link from this article. As it is now, it just redirects to this article. Seems rather pointless to click a link and be directed to the same page you were just reading. LarryJeff (talk) 20:33, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Episode summaries

Why are we starting with episode 8 and when do we expect all the episodes to be summarized? I don't think the article is helped by having just a handful of episode summaries. -- BullWikiWinkle 21:43, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Proposed colour change

I would like to propose that the colours be changed to be more accurate. I think that the current Maraamu colour is pretty accurate, so I think it should stay the way it is. The Rotu buffs and flag were much darker than the colours we have. See here for an image of the flag and buffs. The Soliantu pink, imo wasn't exactly a hot pink. I think it's more of a purpleish-pink colour. See here for a picture of the flag and the buffs. Here are the colours I recommend:

Current Suggested
Maraamu Maraamu
(#DFFF00)
Rotu Rotu
(#FEFE33)
Rotu
(#00DEFF)
Soliantu Soliantu
(#F400A1)
Soliantu
(#E336E9)

Fine with me. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 16:58, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
I must say that I have always seen Rotu's color as definitely not as concentrated as the suggestion above. It was light, and relatively even diluted compared to #00DEFF. See here.
And as a collector of Survivor Merge Buffs myself, I say that Soliantu surely has more red than it does blue. It was also much richer and a bit darker.
My suggestions:
Current Suggested
Maraamu Maraamu
(#DFFF00)
Maraamu
(#E6FF0A)
Rotu Rotu
(#00DEFF)
Rotu
(#64DCFF)
Soliantu Soliantu
(#E336E9)
Soliantu
(#D20096)

The current logo being used on the page isn't the official logo that was used during the show. The logo on the show included "Survivor" written in black letters, and purple tribal designs were in the "Outwit, Outplay, Outlast" ring. The logo we currently have was used on the official website and was used on the collector's buffs sold through CBS. However, in the show, the tribal flags, buffs, and the title card for the series included the black writing and purple designs, as seen in this version. Technically, both logos are official, but I think it might be best to use the logo with the black writing since it was seen on the show. It was also seen in brief glimpses during "Survivor: All-Stars" and "Survivor: Fans vs. Favorites," and it is also the logo that represents "Survivor: Marquesas" on the commemorative tenth anniversary buffs. Vecepia Towery

Vecepia went by her full name on the show, and during confessionals it was displayed as Vecepia. The use of her occasionally used nickname "Vee" throughout the spreadsheets and charts breaks from the norm of using what is represented on the screen, and by doing so could lead to confusion. Robert is not listed as "The General" nor Paschal as "Pappy", so why change Vecepia to "Vee"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.103.140.199 (talk) 15:03, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
