Could we maybe archive some of this previously valid criticism? I feel that the article is quite decent by now, in spite of the ongoing (and often incorrect) flow of strictly UK market information. Maybe there should be a separate "Whizzkid" page for those who only worry about what happened to the 1st gen Cervo in the British market? Mr.choppers (talk) 07:11, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good god this needs a cleanup! 85.210.160.77 13:02, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

agreed, it's mostly from a ridiculously UK perspective too - 'sold here by'!!! Scatterkeir (talk) 13:58, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trying to clean this up a bit... thinking about just rewriting the whole thing. Mr.choppers (talk) 02:38, 8 August 2009 (UTC)Mr.choppers[reply]

Potential Manufacturing by Lotus[edit]

The website source referenced is IMHO unreliable, the surrounding quote on the article page even more so.

Post 1982 Lotus were part owned (circa 20%) by Toyota and were then later owned by GM, GM taking over from 1986 until 1993.

There appears to be nothing is nothing, anywhere in any published literature to support any intention by Lotus to produce these vehicles, which quite clearly require a completely different production facility to that used by Lotus throughout their entire history. 78.105.243.103 (talk) 14:09, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've ordered a book which should be able to tell me whether this is true or not. And you're right, the claims on that site don't hold too much water (as GM didn't even own Lotus until later).  ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃  (talk) 20:23, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
