His Name[edit]

Do we have a documentary basis for his name? I watched the series, and we wondered whether his second name was Hewart or Huert. We definitely heard an R. J S Ayer (talk) 13:15, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

According to the 1940 census, there were around 100 families in the US with the surname Cat...others with Catt or Cats, Also, in DC comic books, the Flash’s nemesis T. O. Morrow (Thomas Oscar) debuted in March 1964. Inspiration? Custom car[edit]

I am currently watching the entire series on DVD. Cat's car may be a Corvette (I'm not a car expert) but I have yet to see an episode with any type of bar on the vehicle, or headlights made to look similar to cat's eyes. When I have watched the entire series I will check to see if there are any comments here. If not, I will delete the "custom car" section as being incorrect. I just removed this unsourced section:

Several times he drove a Chevrolet Corvette, a mid-'60s convertible Stingray. It was customized with a bar that extended up and over the back of the driver. It was not, however, a roll bar—there were two flaps on the top portion. When the headlights were rolled to the "on" position, there were accents by each light that mimicked a cat's eye shape.
