Further work on article
[edit]Someone could read this paper and expand the article:
- Ward, S.A. TRIX: a Network-oriented Operating System. COMPCON, Spring 1980, pp. 344-349.

Is it available anywhere?
[edit]Was it ever published? If yes, does anyone know where or how to get a copy? This should be added to the article, and if it's is not available and/or was never available, that too should be mentioned. Gronky 12:07, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
- Source Code? I don't remember. Might have been up for FTP at some point. The FSF tape archive or Prof. Ward migth have a tape in an old format -- could be hard to read. Mag tapes corrupt in several years.
- Referred papers in computer science journals and proceedings? Yes. Google.com or the SEoYC, will turn up some of the citations. Might also be on Steve Ward's pages or the on-line archive of old LCS publications at csail.mit.edu.

Article name?
[edit]Trix or TRIX? In the article itself TRIX is used and that's what I see elsewhere. So maybe renaming is in order. 85.77.165.59 (talk) 09:33, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
68000
[edit]The article mentions that it was developed on an "obscure, expensive 68000 box" - is this in fact the NuMachine? It actually used a Motorola 68010, which was very similar. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 14:18, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
The first two sentences have different tense
[edit]TRIX is a ... system developed ... by ... group. It ran ..., but was ... a ... workalike.
It can't ran if it is. It should run if it is, or ran if it was. Awhit003 (talk) 02:31, 12 April 2019 (UTC)
