Persistent translation difficulties
[edit]I translated Tamuin almost entirely and I proofread it. It's not much beyond a stub, so the translation is essentially complete. BUT, there are four or five terms I couldn't get. If somebody else doesn't do them in a few days, I will declare the translation complete.
Besides the words, I can't figure out how to do the Infobox. I emulated the box for the Mexican city of Hermosillo in en.wikipedia, and yet the lat-long coordinates don't display. I don't know how to cite graphics.
Here are the bits resisting translation. I can't believe there are THREE terms I have never seen in nearly 30 years denoting human settlements or administrative divisions: villa, partido, poblado.
- consolidarse
- rehabilitacion integral
- article seems to use ayuntamiento interchangeably with municipio: strictly speaking, A is the government of M.
- villa
- partido
- poblado
- article seems to contradict itself by referring to (what seems to be) the same river as both the Tamuin and the Tampaon.
- Part of the description of the plaza is dubious: surrounded by 23 edifices, having five platforms in its center, and -- 13 edifices inside the plaza, surrounding the five platforms.
