Untitled[edit]

As a newcomer to Wiki, I am certainly not offended by the proposed deletion, but I am a bit confused. The article is meant to complement other entries about the Don River and Friends of the Don East, to which I have recently added links in the article on the TMP.

I have also tried to add a category - Nature, Environemntal organizations - without success. It may be my techno-incompetence, but this section seems to be written in computer-ese to me.

Finally, I believe this listing is an important example of a new paradigm of organizations founded on community-based social marketing and that it should be retained.

I added a couple of categories and an external link section to get things started. EncyclopediaUpdaticus (talk) 22:54, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright issues and other problems[edit]

The History, objectives, accomplishments is almost a direct copy taken from TMP Project Goals. The second section, About Taylor-Massey Creek properly belongs on the Taylor-Massey Creek (Don) article. The rest of the article is probably OK with some work needed. EncyclopediaUpdaticus (talk) 22:52, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

Given the article's longstanding lack of notability and references, and the fact that a Google News search turns up absolutely nothing about the project, plus the comments above, I've boldly gone ahead and merged the article into Friends of the Don East—mostly by taking a summary of the content and the available sources and rewriting it from scratch, to avoid the copyright violation issues noted above. // ⌘macwhiz (talk) 01:53, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
