Famous People
[edit]What is the importance of being a member of the Ridings Company? What should we use for criteria to add someone into this category? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 208.4.167.254 (talk) 23:46, 29 March 2007 (UTC).
Summary of Taylorville
[edit]Summary of Taylorsville reads like a Chamber of Commerce website primarily concerned with Shopping, Dining and Golfing opportunities. The article needs a History section, not this. PreciousRoi (talk) 05:48, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- I agree the section should be deleted. Carl.bunderson (talk) 08:51, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Statue
[edit]I see nothing about Taylorville's statue of Lincoln and the pig. How come?

Year the town was founded?
[edit]The History section included recent events yet never states when the town was established. Can that be added by someone who knows that year? - - Prairieplant (talk) 04:43, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
I added the date the town was established, and included a link. Corpusant (talk) 14:35, 5 November 2021 (UTC)
