This article sounds to editorialized that should be fixed — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.198.150.232 (talk • contribs) 02:23, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
This article should conform to the style of the Oscars or other teen award shows. It also needs to be wikified.
Yeah... Someone needs to fix this page up It's impossible to figure out what/who won with the way the page is right now. --72.226.224.251 01:00, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
If Aniston has 11 then taking 4 away she still has 7 indvidual awards. Equal to Britney Spears. 20:29, 15 September 2006 (GMT)
Who keeps putting Britney Spears's name in the 2008 TCA's performers list? Unless a link is provided proving this, she isn't even rumoured to perform there, let alone confirmed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 143.107.4.202 (talk) 13:58, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
Bot report : Found duplicate references !
In the last revision I edited, I found duplicate named references, i.e. references sharing the same name, but not having the same content. Please check them, as I am not able to fix them automatically :)

unsuitable sourcing
This entire article is essentially unsourced. I found one good source for the 2007 awards at http://www.mylifetime.com/lifestyle/entertainment/sophia-bush-tops-2007-teen-choice-awards, but everything else here is sourced to IMDB, and IMDB doesn't pass WP:RS. I'm not going to go delete all the references today, but I will in the near future. Someone needs to dig up some real sourcing for this article.Kww (talk) 03:46, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
Separate Article For Nominees and Winners
Is it alright if you put a separate article for the nominees and winners of the Teen Choice Awards every year? This would make Wikipedia more reliable than ever. Altarep (talk) 15:19, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
I was expecting one of these already, but good idea. Fisher 81 (talk) 04:01, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Wrong information
First paragraph:
"Winners receive a full size surfboard designed with the graphics of that year's show."
Previous Teen Choice Award winner Shane Dawson claims that no Youtuber he knows who won the award has received a surfboard (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YK6R2a-SavM&feature=youtu.be&t=235). Unless there is some proof to backup the statement in the article it should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.190.106.215 (talk) 15:15, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
What the fuck?
First paragraph:
"The winners are awarded with authentic full size surfboards -- literally the biggest award in entertainment -- designed with a fresh summertime theme every year."
Is this article neutral?
Meaningless phrase
"Britney Spears are for the most individual awards"
What is this? Someone please clarify or delete. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.182.230.38 (talk) 20:24, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

Please change " 2011 Sunday, August 7 Sunday, August 7 Selena Gomez Justin Bieber " to " 2011 Sunday, August 7 Sunday, August 7 Justin Bieber's Big Sister Selena Gomez Justin Bieber "
Because Selena said that Justin is like a lil brother to her so why not change it to big sister selena gomez?! thanks :)
Cheronie (talk) 21:34, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
- Maybe because it isn't actually true? Of course we wouldn't include such nonsense in the article.—Kww(talk) 21:44, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
Award Ceremony Numbering
The page for each award ceremony is named by the year it is in, not its number in the order of the ceremonies. As far as I can tell, most award ceremonies' pages use the latter method (for example, there is a page for the 83rd Academy Awards, not the 2011 Academy Awards). I think that all of the pages for the award ceremonies each year should be moved to reflect this naming method. Alphius (talk) 01:04, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
citation needed
Silly to ask for citation when all the information are shown on official site and properly cited. Ucla90024 (talk) 18:25, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
- Did you mean that the official site is properly cited or that this article is? It's certainly not the case for the latter. But, I have added citations -- although it's a primary source (which is not really what should be used), at least it is a source. --Musdan77 (talk) 00:08, 30 July 2014 (UTC)
- References 9, 11, 12 are all from same horse's mouth. Ucla90024 (talk) 04:43, 30 July 2014 (UTC)
- I know. Your point? (WP:PRIMARY) --Musdan77 (talk) 15:01, 30 July 2014 (UTC)
Media Needed
There is no form of photograph or logo indicated in any part of the article. At the very least, there should be a photo of the stage or venue where the event takes place. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Icexstorm (talk • contribs) 19:41, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
Fixed it up
Hey there folks. I fixed the infobox and added the logo from the 2015 awards. Hope it's OK! User:jjdavis699 15:59, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
New Table
I was wondering what people thought about changing the award list to this:
Choice Movie: Action | Choice Movie Actor: Action | Choice Movie Actress: Action |
---|---|---|
Let me know your thoughts and/or changes. CCamp2013 (talk) 23:31, 24 May 2016 (UTC)
Beyoncé
Beyoncé does NOT have 10 TCAs. She never won "Choice Female Hottie" and awards won by Destiny's Child clearly don't count towards her legacy. Fixed.
- @79.226.5.2: which are the Destiny's Child awards featured there? Cornerstonepicker (talk) 04:26, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
"Choice Music: Pop Group" obviously. And again, she never won "Choice Female Hottie"! Fixed... again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.226.5.2 (talk) 21:27, 14 August 2017 (UTC)

Wikipedia does not normally allow user generated content, such as scores from online web polls. I notice that the winners of the Teen Choice awards are decide by user voted web polls and that vote brigading is well known (not to mention the Controversy section of the article), so we should be very skeptical of the awards and their notability, and treat them as unreliable.
So in the case of awards like this where the results are (largely) determined by online votes, maybe being nominated is more notable than actually winning. Any opinions? What I want to know is how are the nominations decided? Does anyone have sources or reference that could be added to the article to explain how nominations are determined? -- 00:42, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
