Views on Deinonychus as predator of Tenontosaurus

I agree that I don't think Deinonychus preyed on Tenontosaurus as a co-ordinated pack, nor do I think they would have limited themselves to juveniles. I agree that normally Deinonychus would have avoided adult Tenontosaurus, but if multiple Deinonychus scented the blood of an animal wounded by a larger predator such as Acrocanthosaurus, they may have gathered in large numbers, attracted by this common lure, and afterward engaging in a feeding frenzy, similar to today's sharks and pirhanas. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.36.130.109 (talk) 00:38, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
