It is actually spelt Tetraamminecopper(II) sulfate, so technically this redirect shouldn't exist (the redirect is spelt correctly, but the page it is redirecting you TO is spelt incorrectly.

The section on its use as an adjuvant is interesting but needs to be reviewed. The action as an adjuvant would be interesting to know, is it simply as a source of ammonia to inhibit other metal ions such as iron? The direct comparison with ammonium sulphate seems odd as one needs to distinguish ammonia molecules (free in solution or as ligands) and ammonium ions, but on the other hand these species exist in equilibrium with each other, depending on pH and concentration of metal ions.

The statement that the copper tetraamine sulphate would be be used to manufacture ammonium sulphate was removed since it seemed highly unlikely.150.227.15.253 (talk) 11:34, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading article name

The article actually refers to tetraamminecopper(II) sulfate monohydrate, not anhydrous tetraamminecopper(II) sulfate. Bernardirfan (talk) 10:56, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
