General Tone

[edit]

This article reads like it was written by a third grader for a school report. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.6.76.8 (talk) 12:21, 23 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sentence Doesn't Make Sense and The Coresponding Source Needs To Be Checked

[edit]

"The development of recycled technology has allowed the textile industry to produce vast amounts of products that deplete natural resources.[1]" - This sentence doesn't make sense. I checked the source, I don't have access to the full paper and from the study preview I couldn't find where this sentence could have been taken from. Please someone check it or correct it. It's also weird that in the source two links are mentioned: firstly paper and after that a company website. Someone with more Wikipedia experience, please check this!

Topic ambiguity

[edit]

About a quarter of this article covers textile reuse rather than recycling. I think it would make sense to either split those bits into a dedicated article, maybe titled "Secondhand clothing industry" or something similar, or rename this page to Textile recycling and reuse. Any thoughts? Tserton (talk) 22:38, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
