Notability
[edit]Although the band is new and rather unknown, it is notable as it contains Jack White, a grammy winning musician and songwriter. Thepitch (talk) 08:18, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Picture
[edit]Can someone please fix the band picture, Jack White looks like a cross between David Gest and David Gilmour(the older, current one)....those pictures aren't even from Dead Weather shows. There are more current pictures out there of everyone in that band. -Thanks, Ben S.
- I'm afraid those images are the best we have from free sources. If you can trace a free image that meets the criteria at WP:NFCC please feel free to provide a link. --JD554 (talk) 14:22, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- What about this image? [1] --Persticioso (talk) 15:38, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- That one is under copyright (check under "Additional Information" on the right side under tags). Consult the info box at the top of this page to see what files are allowed. -NatureBoyMD (talk) 15:51, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Also the two Jacks are incorrectly labelled as each other :S —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.32.126.12 (talk) 21:50, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
- No, they aren't. -NatureBoyMD (talk) 21:55, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Yes they are incorrectly labelled. Jack White and Jack Lawrence should be the other way around, please fix ASAP - ASH. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.208.214.92 (talk) 11:04, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
- As the caption says clockwise, the labelling is correct. --JD554 (talk) 11:08, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
- I did find a free image of all four members, and I placed it in the infobox today. However, it would be fantastic if someone would make it a priority to find and expand more text, since I think that the previous "duo" photo was excellent and should certainly remain somewhere in the text if possible. Made me feel guilty for yanking it out of the article! Oh, yeah, and as for Jack White, my first impression was like, "WOW, Dave Pirner from Soul Asylum died his hair black! --Leahtwosaints (talk) 08:54, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Forever My Queen Cover
[edit]I'm not sure if this is exactly relevant, but maybe somewhere in the article it should mention that they cover this cult classic live sometimes, only because Pentagram is such a obscure 70's act that has recently been getting notoriety. Perhaps someone with better qualifications could do this.23:15, 28 July 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.118.213.147 (talk)
I have corrected
[edit]"Jack White co directed a short film"
"Jack White co-directed a short film"
Not Supergroup
[edit]Jack says specifically in this interview that he doesn't consider Dead Weather a supergroup, so I changed the main page. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vOoXBpbz1k&feature=related — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.54.65.175 (talk) 01:32, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
To resolve, you'll need to define "supergroup" 24.236.70.18 (talk) 17:37, 25 December 2018 (UTC)
The “Inactivity” part
[edit]It doesn’t really clarify their inactivity aside from the fact that they only recorded when they had a burst of inspiration (i’m on mobile so i can’t go back and look at what it said but i know it said something like that.) I think there should be more clarification as to why they are inactive, but I have nothing to add. Hopefully someone else does, but if not I say we should remove the “Inactive” part on the heading.
