Two 1916 films called "The Decoy"

[edit]

There appear to have been at least two silent 1916 films known as The Decoy -- according to http://www.tcmuk.tv/movie_database_results.php?action=title&id=493331, a film by this name was directed by George W. Lederer and starred Frances Nelson, Gladden James, Leonore Harris, Robert W. Frazer, and Frank Beamish. That film was apparently rereleased in 1922 under the title The Faithless Sex. I'm mentioning this here to try to head off any confusion between the two films. —Tim Pierce (talk) 14:40, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I added a tophat to the article stating that this was not THAT film. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 17:19, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

notability

[edit]

So while I clearly know nothing about notability, the article still does not explain why the film is notable, nor do the references indicate why it's notable. Can we have a discussion about why the film is notable? Preferably without condescending remarks? :-) —Tim Pierce (talk) 17:34, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
