1979 film[edit]

With being "premiered in competition for the Golden Bear at the 30th Berlin International Film Festival" isn't this to be considered a 1980 film (like imdb says, too) instead of a 1979 film (like the title and the text say)? --YMS (talk) 15:19, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

YMS, I suspect that IMDb does not list this film's first premiere. Google Books repeatedly mentions 1979 (as well as 1980), especially for older books. Perhaps it was screened in Turkey in late 1979 and had an international premiere in 1980? Also, I just checked Film Index International (under British Film Institute), and it mentions 1979. If there was an earlier premiere than the 30th Berlin International Film Festival, the corresponding sentence I cited is incorrect in our article. --YMS (talk) 11:29, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
I amended the sentence. :) Erik (talk | contribs) 12:12, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
